Dempsey Wins Another Title On  Irish Tour

Tommy Hughes (The Spot Snooker & Pool Club) makes a presentation to
Stephen Dempsey 2008 Co. Monaghan Open 8Ball Pool Champion.

Stephen Dempsey (Cavan) former European 8Ball Pool Champion picked up his first tournament victory in 2008 on Ireland’s Pub Players 8Ball Pool Tour with a 6-4 victory over his good friend and mentor John Mc Mahon in a great final.

Stephen was in tremendous form throughout the tournament recording victories over Lurcan Boylan, Liam Quinn, Alan Mc Bennett, Mark Stockton, Gavin Geraghty, while the former Irish champion John Mc Mahon displayed a return to form with wins over Chris Beattie, Ronan Fay, Barry Dempsey, David Mc Quillan, Mark Graham before losing to Stephen in the final.
