TYRONE OPEN SMALL TABLE SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIPS


Entries are being taken for two open snooker tournaments which will be played for the first time in the following category of the Small Table Game when the Tyrone Open Small Table Snooker Championships and Tyrone Under-19 Small Table Snooker Championships takes centre stage played at the Q-Sport Academy Club Fintona..........



Small Table Snooker is very big and attractive game in different parts of England when leagues are played on 8 ½ ft tables with full size snooker balls used, with the game played in attacking style format which is very enjoyable to watch and play........



Recently in the newly open Q-Sport Academy Fintona the former European 8-Ball Pool Champion Stephen Dempsey (Cavan) recorded the first century break on the clubs table which was a fantastic 104 clearance........



Both tournaments will see all players that enters turning up one night playing two matches if needed and returning for the Grand-Finals when the ¼-finals will be played to a finish.......



Entry fee is £20 for the open event and £13 for the under-19 tournament with all entries accepted by calling 07917887147.........
6-Ball Challenge Cup ------ Group Draw


The new 6-Ball Snooker event only open to category (B) players which is kindly sponsored by John Quinn and Coach Inn venue will cue-off this Monday night 1st June 2009 starting at 7pm on the button played in the Coach Inn Snooker & Pool venue Omagh......


The draw for the group double elimination format was drawn out on Tuesday night past (Tuesday 26th May) in the Coach Inn venue by some of players taking part with the group draw and dates listed below (limited to 16 players)........

DRESS-CODE:
All players are reminded, when playing in tournaments under Ireland’s Inter Club 6-Ball Snooker Tour they must have the tournament dress-code in place which is as follows.......

(a). long sleeve dress shirt…….(waistcoat optional)
(b). black dress trousers.
(c). proper black dress shoes.


DATES: ----7pm Start For All Dates:
Monday 1st June: Groups 1 & 2
Monday 8th June: Groups 3 & 4
Monday 15th June: Grand-Finals, ¼-finals, semi-finals & final


INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS PREMIER LEAGUE:
Entries are also being taken for the new Individual 6-Ball Players Snooker Premier League which will be open to category (A) players with all entries selected and judged by the tournament organisers with the tournament also limited to the first 16 players on a first come, first served basis played in a double elimination format taking place over one Monday night during the week at the Coach Inn Snooker & Pool Club venue with all qualifiers returning for the grand-finals when the ¼-finals, semi-finals & final will also be played to a finish on one night..........for all entries and information contact 07917887147......


UNDER-18 OPEN 6BALL CHAMPIONSHIP:
Entries are also about to close for the first Co. Tyrone Under-18 6-Ball Snooker Championship also taking place at the Coach Inn venue with the draw taking place shortly when all entries must be pre-entered as no player can enter once the draw is made which sees the tournament open to any player from any county played on one day (Saturday) with dates confirmed shortly........for all entries and information contact 07917887147..........
New 6-Ball Snooker event ---- Challenge Cup


The organisers of the new and first Individual Players Challenge Cup which is only open to category (B) players and limited to 16 entries has now closed with all entries received........



This new 6-Ball Snooker event which is kindly sponsored by John Quinn and Coach Inn venue will cue-off next Monday night 1st June 2009 starting at 7pm on the button played in the Coach Inn Snooker & Pool venue Omagh in a group double elimination format with all players divided into four groups of four with the top two players progressing to the ¼-finals which will then be played in a straight knockout format.......



Dress-Code:
All players are reminded, when playing in tournaments under Ireland’s Inter Club 6-Ball Snooker Tour they must have the tournament dress-code in place which is as follows.......

(b). black dress trousers.
(c). proper black dress shoes.


This new Individual Players Challenge Cup will see all players only travelling one night and returning for the ¼-finals which will be played to a finish on one night including the semi-finals & final played on four tables........


The group draw will take place this Tuesday 26th May 2009 in the Coach Inn venue at the the Open 5-Aside 8Ball Super League when a lot of players will be their to help make the draw........
